Salad for lunch. Nice to be back in the land of recognizable lettuce and chunky blue cheese dressing!

Not that I didn't enjoy the salads in France, but after a while it became a tossup whether the greenery was going to eat me before I could eat it.

The Chateau Haut-Koenigsbourg, Alsace. Perched high on the top of a mountain, the castle has been restored as a museum of medieval life. So impressive!
