Brainzzz!
Glittery, glow-in-the-dark brains for the punch bowl. With floating spiders, too. When Middle Daughter throws a party, it's a PARTY!

Maxine
Max likes to hide out...clean laundry is a favorite. She spotted me with the camera and opened her eye. When I walked away after taking the picture, she pulled the paw in and closed her eyes.

Pumpkin Patch
Taken without the flash. Kind of blurry, which is my ongoing problem with low-light shots. Maybe I need to take a photography class!!

The Joy of Rock!
Well, okay, so it's a rocking chair, and not rock n' roll, but it's still a lot of fun!! At least when you're 2...

Now, what's the proper position for tossing this thing to the quarterback?

Rainy Day
Looking out the back door at the deck and the camellia--at one point it must have rained hard, because there are a lot of buds mixed in with the leaves. Hope that won't mean a lot fewer blossoms! Guess we'll find out in a couple of months.

Project
New knitting project--taken with the flash turned off, since the camera doesn't seem to want to take pictures with it turned on! Time to take the camera shopping for its replacement--usually, that will do the trick!

Signs of Fall
Kind of few and far between, especially when we've had a bad heat wave...but they're there if we look.

Rainy Day!
This is an example of SoCal weather playing with our minds. I was out at Daughter's today and the rain came down by the bucketful. Thunder, lightning, even a little bit of hail.
Got back home and everything is bone-dry. Now I get to spend the weekend moving hoses around to try to get some water on the parched plants. Would it have hurt to have given us just a little bit of rain here?
