Photo A Day Jan. 8--Something beginning with T
A Thirties Tumbler quilt in progress. This was a block of the month--each month I got a packet of pre-cut tumblers. After the first 6 months, I sewed them into rows; now I have the second 6 months' worth, ready to sew those into rows and finish assembling the quilt top.
It's going to be enormous so I'm not sure that I'll be wanting to quilt it myself. Have to wait and see once it's done!

A stopped clock is still right twice a day. It's also super easy to reset if you need a picture of a certain time and might have happened to nap through that time. This clock was Himself's anniversary gift from Gallo, I think for 25 years.

Made this little Valentine quilt umpteen years ago, but still pull it out every year. It's supposed to look like a folded love letter. Hand appliqued, with beads, ribbons, lace, and pen-and-ink "love notes."

I love this photo! The light was just right to get the sun shining through the translucent leaves and petals, and the shadows too. Here's hoping the rest of the year's pictures will be as good!
